I’m a 30 year-old travel lover (50 countries and counting!) from the UK, who last year ditched her job, put her belongings into storage and took a ‘Grown-up Gap Year’.*
*it was actually only 6 months, but that doesn’t have the same ring to it.
I like to live life colourfully, and this includes a rainbow of colourful outfits, and often brightly dyed hair (although when I was travelling it was dark brown, paired with dark, practical coloured clothing).
Some things I’m into include: kitsch & kawaii, vintage & retro, history, shopping in junk shops and flea markets, art, architecture, museums, cakes, biscuits & chocolate, body positivity, feminism, green living, animal rights, vegetarianism, crafting and adventures big and small. Oh and cats. I really do love cats.
The aim of my blog is not only to share my personal travel experiences, but also to inspire and empower others who might be thinking about having an adventure. I’ll be focusing on the things that are important to me, such as finding veggie food, visiting as many museums as I can, travelling cheaply and as ethically as possible, and my experiences as a solo female. Hopefully there will be some tips and recommendations in the posts to help others, and at the very least I hope the blog makes you laugh.
Please feel free to get in touch – I’d love to hear your tips, advice and feedback.
