I’m a 30 year-old travel lover from the UK, who has recently ditched my job and put my belongings into storage, to take what I’m calling a ‘Grown-up Gap Year’.*
*it’s actually only 6 months, but that doesn’t have the same ring to it.
I like to live life colourfully, and this includes a rainbow of colourful outfits, and often brightly dyed hair (although as I’m travelling it’s currently dark brown, and my outfits are all dark, practical colours).
Some things I’m into include: kitsch & kawaii, vintage & retro, history, shopping in junk shops and flea markets, art, architecture, museums, cakes, biscuits & chocolate, body positivity, feminism, green living, animal rights, vegetarianism, crafting and adventures big and small. Oh and cats. I really do love cats.
The aim of my blog is not only to share my personal travel experiences, but also to inspire and empower others who might be thinking about having an adventure. I’ll be focusing on the things that are important to me, such as finding veggie food, visiting as many museums as I can, travelling cheaply and as ethically as possible, and my experiences as a solo female. Hopefully there will be some tips and recommendations in the posts to help others, and at the very least I hope the blog makes you laugh.
Please feel free to get in touch – I’d love to hear your tips, advice and feedback.
